2009-2010 COURSE REGISTRATION

Buchholz has started the registration process for the 2009-2010 school year for existing 9th, 10th and 11th students.  BHS teachers began recommending academic courses (English, math, science, social studies, and foreign language) for students before spring break.  Students will have an opportunity after spring break to fill out the remainder of their schedule with elective classes.  Guidance counselors will go into English classes during the day and meet with students to ensure that schedules are accurate and complete.  Near the end of this school year, parents will be sent a list of courses that their student is registered in for the fall.  Any parent wishing to move a student into a more advanced level of an academic course than the teacher recommended will need to contact Mr. Shelnutt (starting May 4) to set up a formal waiver conference.  Any change of elective classes or waivers for academic courses must be completed by June 30th.
